Theme Day: Metal

This month's theme is Metal, this is a picture from a family at the Steel Museum in Fundidora Park, called Horno 3 (Furnace 3).

Why a family between chains? Well, I tried to show one of the Mexican values that are still recognized in Monterrey's society: the family union, and what better way that represent this that with the strong links of a chain.

You can watch some other pictures from Fundidora Park, that once hosted one of the biggest foundries in Latin America.

Today is a Theme Day, so you can check how Metal is interpreted throughout Globe in one of the links below.

The photo as itself is nice with the chains like a curtain and the view through and also it is symbolic as you have written yourself.
Saludos di Colonia.

Extremely strong family connections!

BTW, the Swiss use the Franc, not the Euro. Switzerland isn't part of the EU, but does have many bilateral treaties with it. Thank you for your visit and comment over at my Villigen blog.

Interesting connection between the family and the chains. Was it your family?

Thanks to all of you for your visits and comments.

marie-noyale: hope that the translations helps a little bit on your Spanish, at least you can catch a new word every now and then.

angela: I didn't know them, I was taking a photo of something else and when I turn just saw the scene and took it.
