Where He's Pointing At??

This statue is to honor Miguel Hidalgo.

He's carring a banner of the Virgin of Guadalupe in his left hand.

Who was he? What did he do to deserve a statue? You'll know tomorrow.



Esta estatua es en honor a  Miguel Hidalgo.

Tiene en su mano izquierda una bandera con la imagen de la Virgen de Guadalupe.

¿Quién fué él? ¿Qué hizo para merecer una estatua? Mañana lo sabrán.

Just a Sunset

Since last month I didn't post any sunsets, here is one.

I paint it a little bit with an orange hue to give the palms more importance and a more dramatic effect to the whole picture.

Como el mes pasado no publiqué ningún atardecer, aquí les dejo uno.

Lo pinté un poco de naranja  para darle más importancia a las palmas y darle un efecto más dramático a la foto completa.

Reflections of the Sky

These are a couple of buildings in San Pedro, which is part of the greater Metroplex of Monterrey.

Both are used mostly as office space, although there are some commercial businesses at the first level, mostly restaurants.

I got this reflection near a cloudy sunset. The building reflected is a NH hotel that just opened a few months ago.


Este par de edificios están en San Pedro, que es parte del área Metropolitana de Monterrey.

Ambos son usados en su mayoría como oficinas, aunque hay algunos negocios en el primer nivel, especialmente restaurantes.

Este reflejo es de un atardecer nublado. El edificio que se aparece reflejado es el hotel NH que abrió hace unos pocos meses.
