Neptune's Fountain


This is one of the landmarks of Monterrey: Neptune's Fountain.

It's right in the heart of the Macroplaza,  right at downtown. Although the original name is “The Fountain of Life” is better known by the main sculpture in it. 

Is dedicated to water, since here it's been scarce from the foundation of the City.


Este es uno de los monumentos de Monterrey: La Fuente de Neptuno.

Es justo en el corazón de la Macroplaza, en el centro. Aunque su nombre original es “La Fuente de la Vida”  es mejor conocida por la escultura principal en ella.

Está dedicada al agua, que siempre ha sido escasa desde la fundación de la Ciudad.

With those fountains going, looks like water's not so scarce there anymore. It's a lovely sculpture and fountain, although not something I would have expected in Mexico.
